May Sip and Strauss Workshop

Bring along the special women in your life and join us to celebrate the month of Mother's Day by making your own strauss bouquet in a vase, complete with high tea style nibbles and refreshments to enjoy while you learn fundamental floristry techniques and channel your inner creativity.
Sip and Strauss is our take on a sip and paint style workshop, but with flowers; named after the technique that makes a florist bouquet different from an everyday bunch of flowers and that you will have perfected by the end of the evening. 'Strauss' is the method of creating a hand tied bouquet by laying each stem diagonally to create a spiral.
Our Sip and Strauss workshops are perfect for beginners who are looking for a unique social event or those who are interested in learning floristry skills. Whether you bring a friend or partner, are with a group or come by yourself and make new friends, everyone and all experience levels are welcome!
Sip and Strauss workshops are guided by the owners of Iris and Elle, practicing florists who will share floristry tips and tricks to help you create a beautiful florist style strauss bouquet. All flowers and materials are supplied as well as nibbles and non-alcoholic refreshments. At the end of the workshop you will take home your very own custom florist style bouquet in a vase.
Guests should
• Arrive at 2:30pm for a 1pm start
• Wear enclosed shoes
Workshop packages include:
$120 Standard Package: all flowers, tools and materials, plain cylinder glass vase, nibbles and refreshments
$175 Deluxe Package: all flowers, tools and materials, Freys.co handmade coloured glass vase, nibbles and refreshments
$210 Luxury Package: luxury seasonal flowers (including a phalaenopsis orchid), all tools and materials, Freys.co handmade coloured glass vase, nibbles and refreshments
Refund Policy
Bookings are non-refundable; however, we offer a booking transfer to a friend or family member if we are contacted about the transfer within 24 hours of the event. If you are unwell with COVID-19, we will issue a credit for the following workshop, less the cost of the flowers that have been purchased for your spot at the workshop upon proof of a positive test result.
